In the current version of WhatsApp, you can pin an unlimited number of chats. However, by default, the app allows you to pin only up to three chats.

Here’s a trick to pin more than three chats:

1. Open WhatsApp and pin three chats. When you attempt to pin the fourth chat, you’ll receive a notification indicating that you’ve reached the maximum number of pins.

2. Select one of your pinned chats and archive it. Then, choose another chat that isn’t pinned and pin it. Keep an eye out for the “undo” option that appears at the bottom of the screen and quickly undo the action. Your previously archived pinned chat will return with its pin intact.

3. Now you have four pinned chats. To pin even more chats (unlimited), select all your pinned chats except for two and archive them. As you archive these chats, they will disappear from your list. Choose any chat you’d like to pin and pin it. Be swift and click the “undo” option at the bottom of the screen as soon as possible because the chat might disappear.

4. If you can’t see the archived chat, don’t worry; it will reappear when you receive a new message.

This clever workaround allows you to pin as many chats as you desire, beyond the default limit of three.
