Methods to delete a playlist on you-tube

Since we all use youtube on phones and computers. Thus we will discuss both ways of deleting youtube playlists either on the phone or computer.

Deleting playlist on computer/laptop

Step:1 Open the youtube application on your laptop/computer. Once you reach the YouTube homepage, make sure that you are logged in with your youtube account.

You can check the account by clicking on the icon with your account profile shown on the top right corner of the home page.

Step:2 If you are not logged in with your account, click on that icon and choose ‘switch account’ to add your profile or select your profile from the available ones.

Step:3 After that, choose the ‘library’ option from the menu given on the left side of the home page.

Scrolling the page down, you will find your all playlists. If you don’t find the desired playlist then proceed with the other way.

Step:4 Click on the ‘show more’ option available in the same menu on the left side of the home page.

Step:5 The list gets extended with your playlists in the same menu.

In the above figure, all the playlists are highlighted and now you can delete any one of them as per your choice.

Step:6 Just click on the playlist you want to delete and you will get a screen that looks like as shown in the figure below.

Your playlist is open now you can do anything you wish with all the options provided.

Step:7 Click on the option with 3-dots to delete the playlist.

Step:8 Choose the ‘Delete playlist’ options.

Step:9 After clicking on that, a pop window will appear for final confirmation asking whether to delete the playlist or not.

Click on ‘DELETE’ to delete the playlist.

Deleting playlists on Mobile phones

Step:1 Open youtube on your mobile phone and click on the ‘library’ option given at the bottom of the home page.

Step:2 In the library, you will see all your saved playlists. Scroll down to see all the playlists.

Step:3 Click on the particular playlist you want to delete.

After clicking on that, the videos in that playlist will be visible to you.

Step:4 Click on the three dots option available on the top right side of the page.

Step:5 Click on the ‘Delete playlist’ to delete the playlist.

Step:6 A pop-up option will appear for the final confirmation of the deletion of the playlist.

Choose ‘DELETE’ to delete the playlist.

 

Finally, your playlist is deleted.
